CHURCH LEGACY

A Church Legacy Plan provides written instructions for what will happen to a church’s assets should it ever cease to exist. At The Baptist Foundation of California, we believe a plan should be put into place before a church needs it.

The BFC has provided dozens of Southern Baptist churches with legacy planning to help ensure appropriate legal protection in the future. Upon a request by the appropriate leaders of a church, our attorneys simply assess the church’s specific situation and suggest changes to existing legal documents or the creation of new directives as may be needed.
