Ernest began his journey with the Foundation at just 26 years old and, over the decades, has grown into a trusted leader, now serving as our Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. His dedication, integrity, and heart for ministry have left a lasting impact on the Foundation and the many churches we serve. We are grateful for Ernest’s leadership and the example he sets in stewarding resources for Kingdom purposes.

BFCAL is also celebrating a year of blessings and impactful work in 2024 as we continue fulfilling our mission through institutional investing, church lending, and estate planning across California, Arizona, and Nevada.

While these core purposes remain unchanged, it’s vital to be reminded of who we are and why we exist. In 2024, God blessed our partnerships with churches, associations, entities, and Baptist individuals to advance the Great Commission. Highlights include the Advancement Committee approving 105 SoCal Baptist Ministries grants totaling $330,032.

Our legal team conducted Estate Planning seminars in 28 churches and completed 84 estate plans. We also exceeded our goal of $5 million in estate planning pipeline gifts, with over $16 million added.

Additionally, our assets under management continued to grow, reaching $239,499,104 as of December 31, 2024.
