Agency Grant Program
The mission of The Baptist Foundation of California (BFC) is to serve Southern Baptists by raising, managing, and distributing financial resources for Kingdom causes. BFC Agency grants are awarded exclusively to associations, agencies, institutions, programs, and other entities affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention.
- Applicants must be an affiliated organization with the California Southern Baptist Convention or a local Baptist association. (Churches should request funding through SoCal Baptist Ministries).
-Applicants must possess a 501(c)(3) designation with the IRS.
-Applicants must not have received a BFC Grant within the last 12 month period prior to the application deadline
-Applicants must agree to submit an outcome report to the BFC within 30 days of the conclusion of the program or project. Outcome reports must be submitted before future applications will be considered.
-Organizations which are BFC clients receive priority consideration.
-Incomplete applications or those not meeting the guidelines above, will not be considered.
Complete Agency Grant Applications are considered two times per year and may be submitted any time according to the following schedule:
Deadline #1: Applications must be submitted by January 15
Deadline #2: Applications must be submitted by July 15
